iPhone Usability Engineering for a Medical Application

What is the course about?

This Master student project course is in cooperation with a medical project currently ongoing at the Chair for Applied Software Engineering.

Places are limited.

 

In this course you will

- work on an iPhone application as well as an iPad application with a strong emphasis on usability engineering (what are the differences of the hardware, what does this mean for the mental model and the interaction)

- interprete scenarios

- create personas

- create and iterate paper prototypes

- create and iterate storyboards

- will conduct several usability evaluations with doctors (med.)

 

Extension to an Android device possible, based on interest.
